A site inhabite at the Neolithic era…today, a village
which enters XXIe century.

The carved tree
In many villages of the top-cantons, the central place is decorated
with a common elm. Caylar thus had its elm. This tree had been planted
on an unspecified date on this same place. In the middle of the
Eighties, it, like the majority of the elms of France, was reached
