| Dating
from the Middle Ages, vestiges remain of the 3 entry gates to the
village. There are many examples of Gothic art to admire as well
as the superb mullioned windows in the lanes, passageways, cul-
de - sacs and the interior courtyards surrounding the 14th Century
church.
Do not forget to visit the Chapel of the Penitents
which was built in the 16th century ,and the Abbey Church House
which is now the Mairie.
Aspiran is also a Vineyard and the Co-operative Cellar
offers characteristic wines to taste and drink, in moderation!
The
Web site made by the pupils of the local school, enables you
to visit this splendid little village next to Clermont Hérault
(many good photographs)
